Cycle for Life

Help raise funds to support a number of charities in the Cycle for Life Fun Ride.

The ride is 100km, starting and ending at the Clevedon A & P Showgrounds.

Funds raised by the ride will be used for projects supporting kids’ life and healthy living skills.

The Cycle for Life Fun Ride is on 18 April.

Special sponsored tickets to the show for special needs and disadvantaged kids are available through the charity.

Shortland Street actors Faye Smythe, Kiel McNaughton and Nisha Madhan are ambassadors for Southern Stars.

The Southern Stars charity pantomime Cinderella is on 10 April.

Life Flight

Aviators will take off this month to help raise funds for charity on the New Zealand Air Safari.

The crew will fly all over New Zealand for ten days for the National Air Ambulance Arm of the Life Flight Trust.

The New Zealand Air Safari departs 23 March, returning 1 April.

In less than two weeks runners will hit the harbour for Round the Bays 2010.

The 8.4km run will benefit Ronald McDonald House Auckland, the Waitemata Harbour Clean-Up Trust and Fairfax First Books.
